Awards FAQs
Did QuakeWrap® win the Trenchless Technology Project of the Year?
Trenchless Technology magazine gives the award to a project and its team. The 2011 and 2018 Rehabilitation winners were PSE&G gas main projects by Progressive Pipeline Management that used PipeMedic® laminates. The 2009 honorable mention was the El Encanto pipeline in Costa Rica, lined with QuakeWrap® glass FRP.
Which product received the 2016 ASCE Innovation Award?
StifPipe®, in the Green Engineering category, as the world's first green and sustainable pipe. InfinitPipe® is the version of the same pipe built continuously on site by a mobile manufacturing unit, which is why both names appear in coverage of the award.
Is the Costa Rica penstock an award winner?
Yes. The El Encanto pipeline received a 2009 Trenchless Technology Project of the Year honorable mention (Rehabilitation) and a 2010 ICRI Award of Merit.
Which award is the export recognition?
There are two. In 2017 the U.S. Department of Commerce recognized QuakeWrap® as a model exporter. In 2018 the Sun Corridor Export Recognition Program named QuakeWrap, Inc. its Expert Exporter for overall achievement in Pima County.
